When a storm tears through Shady Cove and shingles start peeling off the roofline, you need a crew that picks up the phone and shows up — not a call center that puts you on hold.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Shady Cove, OR before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Ask any Roof Repair Smedway crew lead for a copy of our license and certificate of insurance and they'll hand it over before you even finish the sentence — that's standard practice here, not a special favor.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Commercial Roofing teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Verified licensing across Shady Cove, OR with documentation available on request.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
Every estimate is itemized in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
A roof rarely fails all at once. It sends smaller signals first, and catching them early is almost always cheaper than waiting for the emergency call.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Once a shingle starts warping, it's no longer sealing properly against wind-driven rain.
Small gaps that let light in will let water in during the next heavy rain.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Missing shingles expose the underlayment, which is only designed as a temporary secondary barrier, not a long-term surface.
We break our work into distinct service lanes because a wind-lifted ridge cap and a full tear-off need completely different crews, materials, and timelines.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
Residential work covers shingle repair, full re-roofs, ridge and soffit ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing — whatever the house actually needs.
We schedule commercial jobs around business hours whenever possible, minimizing disruption to tenants, staff, or foot traffic.
A full tear-off strips the roof down to the decking, replaces damaged boards, and installs a new underlayment and shingle system built to current code.
Scheduled maintenance visits catch loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them into an emergency call.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
Calls placed after hours still reach an on-call line for anything urgent.
The inspection covers decking condition, flashing points, and ventilation, not just the obvious problem area.
No verbal-only pricing — every number is documented so there's no confusion at invoice time.
Once approved, the crew schedules the work and completes it to manufacturer spec, cleaning the property before leaving.
Crews dispatched from within Shady Cove, OR reach most Shady Cove calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
Flat-rate pricing means the quote you approve is the quote you pay, barring a scope change we'll flag with you first.
Our installers train on manufacturer specifications for shingles, underlayment, and flashing systems, not just general carpentry.
Every repair and install comes with a workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
We've worked with enough adjusters across Shady Cove, OR to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
We put our workmanship guarantee in writing on every job, so if something about the completed work doesn't match what was agreed, we send a crew back at no extra charge.
Material substitutions or unexpected decking damage found mid-job are always discussed with you first — we don't add line items after the fact and hope you don't notice.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Commercial Roofing crews to Shady Cove and the surrounding communities throughout Shady Cove, OR, with additional coverage available on request for properties just outside our standard radius.
If a storm system moves through Shady Cove, OR and call volume spikes, we prioritize active leaks first and communicate realistic wait times for everything else rather than leaving people guessing.
